Have you ever wondered why we love visiting new places and having new adventures? Why do we seek out places we've never seen before, especially places surrounded by nature?
My husband and I often choose to spend our vacations exploring places we haven't seen before and immersing ourselves in nature whenever we can. I often find myself wondering why it feels so peaceful to stand beneath a vast open sky, look out over the ocean, or discover a landscape for the first time. I think it's the feeling that nature gives us. It calms us. It slows us down. It brings a sense of peace within. And that feeling is what keeps inspiring me to paint or create another mosaic.
Nature has always been my greatest source of inspiration. But I don't try to simply recreate what I see. Instead, I'm drawn to the feelings, colors, textures, shapes, and movement I discover in nature and let them become part of my creative process.
A weathered piece of slate, the movement of water, the irregular shape of a stone, or the colors of a sunset can spark an idea that eventually finds its way onto my canvas or into a mosaic.

What fascinates me most is that nature doesn't strive for perfection. Its beauty is found in its imperfections, unexpected shapes, and endless variations. I try to bring that same sense of freedom and individuality into my artwork.
For me, creating is about capturing a feeling rather than a particular place or object. I want my work to evoke something personal, a memory, a feeling of calm, a sense of wonder, or simply the joy of being surrounded by beauty.
I hope that when one of my pieces finds its way into your home, it brings a little bit of that connection to nature with it. I invite you to explore my collection and discover the piece that speaks to you.
